We had a great day on the Lucky Dog and would recommend it to anyone in the Palm Beach area. We went 3 for 3 on sailfish and added a solid tuna haul to the box. Captain Bob and First Mate Kenna kept things fun and shared plenty of local insight throughout the trip. Looking forward to getting back out with them soon.

It was our first time deep sea fishing near the Gulf Stream, and my 11-year-old son had one goal—catch a mahi mahi. Even on a tough day when others weren’t having much luck, we both landed some beautiful, big mahi. We had them cooked at a local restaurant, and it turned into the best fish we’ve ever had together. The captain and skipper were fantastic—friendly, knowledgeable, and made the whole trip memorable. Highly recommend.

We didn’t land any big fish—just a few small bonitas—but the trip was still a lot of fun. Robert and Kenna were great to fish with, easygoing and very knowledgeable. Quick tip: be sure to check Robert’s message for the correct meeting spot, not just the app location. Even with that mix-up, everything worked out and we had a great time. I’d definitely book with them again and take another shot at the bigger fish.

Captain Bob is a seasoned, well-traveled captain who truly knows his craft. His boat is a great fit for Palm Beach fishing, and everything runs smoothly from start to finish. Kenna, his mate, worked hard all day and clearly knew exactly what needed to be done. I would absolutely fish with them again.

The captain and the first mate were very personable and knowledgeable about the local waters. We covered quite a lot of water, but the fish were not cooperating on the day of trip. Despite that, they still were able to put us on some mahi, a sailfish, and some bonita for fun. All in all, it was a great outting and we would definitely book with Lucky Dog again.

Captain Robert and his first mate Kenna made this such a fun trip for us!! Leading up the trip, Robert was great about communicating where to be, what to expect, and contingencies in case of bad weather. We were a group of 5 and pretty much all beginners, but they made us feel comfortable and everyone caught a fish! Boat was clean and comfortable - Highly recommend!

We booked this trip hoping my 8-year-old would land a sailfish—and he did! We didn’t have to go far offshore before the action started. The captain and first mate were fantastic with the kids and made sure we had everything we needed. We’ll absolutely be booking another trip with them!

Such an awesome outing! We brought in four keeper mahi, all on the larger side. Just two of them were more than enough to feed six people for both lunch and dinner—with leftovers to spare. Definitely recommend this trip!
