Palm Beach Pines State Recreation Area - Palm Beach, FL Offshore Report on 20th Jun, 2025

Offshore fishing out of Palm Beach has been firing on all cylinders this week. Anglers heading past the reef line are finding plenty of action in the deep, with mahi-mahi, blackfin tuna, sailfish, and king mackerel leading the charge. The weed lines are holding steady about 8 to 12 miles offshore, and that's where the mahi are hanging out. Most are school-sized, but a few gaffers have been caught on skirted ballyhoo and live pilchards. Early morning is your best bet, especially on an outgoing tide. Blackfin tuna are still cruising the drop-offs, especially around 200–300 feet. Trolling small feathers and vertical jigging has produced consistent hits. Sailfish are showing up in small numbers but are active when the wind picks up and the water color pushes in. A few lucky boats have had multiple hook-ups within minutes. Bottom fishing near structure in 150–250 feet has been productive for vermillion snapper and amberjack, with squid and sardines doing the trick. Seas have been manageable, with a light chop and steady currents—perfect conditions for a productive offshore run.
